Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Coordinate data collection and error resolution activities; coordinate activities and communication needed to ensure required data are reported accurately and on time. 
  • Work collaboratively with district support staff, department or building administrators, and the district superintendent to disseminate information and reporting requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings with the district data teams; set expectations, assist district administration to define roles and responsibilities and provide ongoing support for the team.
  • Assist districts in meeting state data reporting requirements including but not exclusive to Accountability, Annual Professional Performance Reviews, BEDS Day Reporting, and Personnel Master File.
  • Commitment to promoting equity, practicing cultural responsiveness, and creating inclusive environment.

Position: Notice of Periodic Vacancies for Interim Superintendent, Interim Assistant Superintendent, Interim Principal, Interim Assistant Principal

Location: Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Component Districts

Salary: $500 - $1,000 per day. Specific compensation will depend upon the district, plus education, experience, and contract.

Start Date: This is an ongoing canvassing for applicants in order to fill periodic vacancies as they arise.

Tutors 2024-2025 School Year

Tutors provide tutoring services to students who are capable of benefitting from instruction but are unable to attend school and/or unable to learn in the traditional classroom environment. 

The Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES provides Tutors to a wide geographical area.  Tutor candidates who are screened, interviewed, and referenced may be presented to the Board of Education for approval.  Tutor candidates will be required to complete onboarding paperwork, trainings, and provide further information related to areas of expertise and interest. 

This position is posted for the entire school year and applicants will only be reviewed as requests for services come in for this position throughout the year.  Applicants will only be contacted when a position becomes available.

Clinical Support Personnel are expected to function in the role of a family support counselor with the ability to:

  • Work with a diverse population of students and families.
  • Provide students and families with a safe space to support their identified goals.
  • Utilize the Solution Focused Brief Therapy Model and provide resources to meet student and family needs.
  • Utilize online documents and programs.
  • Work collaboratively as a member of a co-therapy team.

Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.

AccelerateU Teacher

Please note that applicants will be reviewed and will be filled on a continuing basis based on program needs.

Location: Remote; Asynchronous online learning program

Salary: $245.00 per student completion of a 20-to-24-week online course. If the student withdraws prior to completion, the teacher will be compensated at a daily rate of $1.45. Teachers will be compensated in the month following course completion or withdrawal.

Teachers are expected to:

•Ability to work with a diverse population of students.
•Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning.
•Provide resources to meet student learning needs.
•Communicate regularly and effectively with all stakeholders.
•Record and report student progress.
•Provide a minimum of one (1) synchronous office hour per week, available to student(s) for calls, meetings (virtual) as provided in the AccelerateU handbook.
