The 4–6-year sequence emphasizes individualized pathways to completion, mentorships, work-based experiences, in-depth project-based learning, and real-world experiences. Instructors are expected to: provide specialized instruction to students with emotional and learning disabilities; provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning; record and report student progress; collaborate with colleagues and provide resources to meet student learning needs; communicate regularly and effectively with parents; ability to work with a diverse population of students.
