| Teacher Aide, NEC | | Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is hiring Teacher Aides to support students across our Special Education programs throughout the region. This is meaningful, hands-on work where your presence truly matters every single day. As a Teacher Aide, you’ll play a critical role in helping students learn, grow, and succeed by providing individualized support in a structured, team-based school environment. Teacher Aides are often the steady, trusted adults our students rely on most. Our aides provide 1:1 support, helping students navigate academics, social-emotional learning, and daily routines. - 10-month position following the school calendar (evenings, holidays, and summers off!) with option to work during summer school

What You’ll Do As a Teacher Aide, you will: - Support students individually or in small groups under the direction of a certified teacher
- Assist students with academic tasks, social skills, and daily routines
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
- Implement behavior support plans and follow established routines
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Assist with transitions, mobility, and personal care as needed
- Training is provided — you do not need classroom experience to apply.
