School Psychologist, 2 Positions, Component Districts		Please note that applicants will be reviewed and will be filled on a continuing basis based on program needs. Salary Range: $48,932 - $56,736, based on experience and demonstrated abilities. Benefits include paid holidays & leave time, NYS retirement, and health & dental insurance. Depending on location, this position may involve direct work with students with autism, emotional and/or developmental disabilities which may include, but are not limited to, oppositional and aggressive behaviors; mood disorders; and potentially severe and unpredictable physical and/or verbal outbursts. School Psychologists are expected to: • Ability to work with a diverse population of students . • Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning. • Provide targeted interventions to teach social, emotional, behavioral regulation. • Provide group and/or individual counseling using evidence-based interventions. • Conduct initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and Functional Behavior Assessments. • Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans and crisis management plans. • Collaborate and consult with community-based providers, parents, component districts, colleagues and provide resources to meet student learning needs. • Communicate regularly and effectively with stakeholders. • Record and report student progress.
