| Tutors | | Tutor pay rate for certified tutors is $36.50 per 1-hour session for any single (1) student, with an hourly rate adjustment for sessions involving multiple students (not an increase to the base rate), inclusive of material prep time and pick-up. Tutors provide tutoring services to students who are capable of benefiting from instruction but are unable to attend school and/or unable to learn in the traditional classroom environment. The Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES provides Tutors to a wide geographical area. Tutor candidates who are screened, interviewed, and referenced may be presented to the Board of Education for approval. Tutor candidates will be required to complete onboarding paperwork, trainings, and provide further information related to areas of expertise and interest. Applicants will be reviewed as requests for services come throughout the year. Applicants will only be contacted when a position becomes available.
