About the role:

The Coordinator of Instructional Technology is under the general supervision of the Manager of Project Coordination but reports directly to each component district superintendent and responses to their tasks and direction. This is a Cabinet level equivalent position in each component district. Per component district requests, this position requires New York State Education Department administrative certification.

What you’ll do as the Coordinator of Instructional Technology:

  • All technology planning for the district.
  • Responsibility for the creation, justification and management of the technology budget for the district.
  • Research current and developing technology capabilities in regard to their ability to enhance instruction.
  • Serve as district point of contact for BOCES provided hardware and software support.
  • Make technology staffing recommendations to the component district superintendent
  • Provide supervision of district-based technology staff.
  • Provide and/or arrange for technology training for staff.
  • Provide facilitation services to a variety of groups with regard to technology support and instruction.
  • Other duties as assigned by component district superintendent.

AccelerateU Teacher

Location: Remote; Asynchronous online learning program

Salary: $245.00 per student completion of a 20-to-24-week online course. If the student withdraws prior to completion, the teacher will be compensated at a daily rate of $1.45. Teachers will be compensated in the month following course completion or withdrawal.

Teachers are expected to:

•Ability to work with a diverse population of students.
•Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning.
