| Regional Summer School Principal | | Regional Summer School Principals at various locations are needed throughout the region. Key Responsibilities - Provide day-to-day administrative leadership for summer program site and staff.
- Oversee scheduling, program implementation, curriculum delivery, and compliance with NYSED summer school requirements.
- Supervise, support, and evaluate instructional and support staff; facilitate professional communication and coordination among districts participating in the cooperative.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment, including student supervision, disciplinary procedures, emergency response, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor attendance, grading, reporting, and record-keeping in accordance with BOCES and district policies.
- Serve as primary liaison to families and transportation
- Manage daily operations including staffing adjustments, parent communication, and problem-solving related to student or program needs.
- Prepare required reports and contribute to program evaluation for continuous improvement.
Important Details: Salary: - $4,150 flat rate stipend, paid bi-monthly from 3/10-6/30
- $6,225 flat rate stipend, paid bi-monthly from 7/1-8/21

- Western Wayne Academy (grades 9-12, Wayne HS): July 7 – August 20, M-Th
- Newark/Lyons High (grades 9-12, Newark HS): July 7 – August 20, M-F
- Newark/Lyons Middle (grades 6-8, Newark MS): July 7 – August 6, M-Th
- Newark/Lyons Elementary (grades K-5, Perkins Elem): July 7 – August 6, M-Th
- Marion/Williamson Elementary (grades K-8, Williamson Elem): July 7 – July 31, M-F
Additional Information: - The Cooperative Program Principals (site-specific) and Cooperative Program Assistant Principals are paid a monthly stipend starting March 10, 2026, or the day immediately following their BOE approval, and ending August 21, 2026.
- Administrators assigned to programs that operate Monday through Thursday are still required to work on Fridays throughout the duration of their appointment. Administrators will be reassigned to another cooperative location on Fridays to provide supervisory or operational support as needed.
- All Regional Cooperative Administrators are required to work through August 21, 2026. If a program concludes prior to Regents examination administration, administrators will be reassigned to support the regional program—either through building-based supervision, Regents preparation oversight, or other assigned duties—to ensure consistent administrative coverage across all cooperative sites.
- Compensation for the period of BOE appointment through the first day before student attendance covers preparation tasks, while the period from the first day of student attendance through August 21st covers onsite supervision and operational responsibilities.
- All Regional Cooperative Administrators are required to attend 6, 3-hour Leadership Training Sessions. These will be held either at Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES or virtually (decided at a later date), and will run from 4:00-7:00 pm on the following dates: March 10, March 17, April 7, April 21, May 5, and May 12.

| Regional Summer School Assistant Principal | | We are hiring for Regional Summer School Assistant Principals at various locations throughout our region. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Principal in planning and overseeing daily summer school operations.
- Supervise instruction and provide feedback to teachers and support staff.
- Enforce the Code of Conduct and promote a safe, positive school climate.
- Monitor student attendance and engagement; communicate with families as needed.
- Assist with staff supervision, scheduling, and problem-solving.
- Coordinate building operations, safety procedures, and emergency response.
- Ensure compliance with NYSED regulations and BOCES policies.
- Collect and review data related to attendance, behavior, and program outcomes.
- Collaborate with counselors and student support teams.
- Serve as an administrative presence throughout the program day.
