Provides leadership and support to the business office staff and District Superintendent, coordinates and collaborates with business office staff on preparation of reports and information for the District Superintendent, Board of Education and Administrators as necessary, establishes and maintains working communications process with respect to provision of financial information for appropriate personnel in areas of related responsibility, overall supervision of business office staff, maintains current understanding of the issues pertaining to the functions of school business management in both component districts and BOCES.
School District Business Leader (SDBL) or School Business Administrator (SBA) certification required. Knowledge of SED regulations and guidelines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Superior analytical and planning skills. Accounting background preferred.
