Summer School Principal
Location: Penn Yan Academy
Start Date: The summer school Principal is expected to begin planning as soon as appointed
End Date: August 16, 2019
The consortium will serve students from Penn Yan Gorham-Middlesex and and will run four days a week, Monday – Thursday in July and August (specific dates TBD) from approximately 7:30 AM – 12 PM.

NYS Teacher Certification required. Administrative certification or Intern Eligibility preferred. Proven educational experience & leadership abilities are essential. The Summer School Principal will oversee all aspects of developing and implementing the summer program. This will include the hiring and supervision of approximately 20 staff, the scheduling of classes, student placements, ordering and organizing summer school state testing, and completing various reports as required. The Principal will serve as the direct contact between cooperating districts and BOCES.
