Seeking temporary, part time online course instructors in all certification areas to support our AccelerateU program. AccelerateU currently offers 100+ online courses taught by NYS certified teachers that feature rigorous, interactive formats that allow for individualized learning.
Instructors also receive reimbursement of Internet access at standard internet access rates.
Compensation: $215.00 per student completion of a 20-24 week online course. If the student drops the course prior to completion, the teacher will be compensated at a daily rate of $1.27. Teaches will be compensated in the month following the course completion or withdrawal. Additional Expenses: Internet Education Instructors will be paid an annual stipend of $350.00 per teacher for online classroom set up and training as needed during the year. This stipend is to be paid in the month following the teacher’s first online student enrollment for the school year, which starts on July 1st.
Minimum requirements for consideration are: NYS certified in the content area, (5) years teaching experience, proficiency with computer technology, responsiveness to students and other stakeholders.
