NYS Speech Therapist Certification is required. NYS Speech-Language Pathologist license is preferred. Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication required and experience with Alternate Access preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with students with autism, emotional and/or developmental disabilities. Successful completion of all elements of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training. Job responsibility requires individual to do one and two person lifts and/or physical interventions on a daily basis with students weighing 50-200 pounds.
