Job Description

EduTech is seeking a technology leader whose strengths include customer focused problem resolution and strong communication and interpersonal skills to join our management team based in Newark, NY. The manager is responsible for the planning and management of daily operations for approximately 50 staff technicians involved in installation and support of networks, servers, workstations, and mobile devices.  The manager will interact with internal teams, vendors, and school district personnel. 

Additional accountabilities of the position are:

  • oversight of the Help Desk
  • coordination of team research and development
  • advancement of long-range plans and strategic direction, in alignment with organizational strategy

Successful candidate will have:

  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and evaluate staff 
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently, as well as well as collaboratively

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree 

Ten years of relevant technical experience, including 5 years management experience
