Clinical Support Personnel are expected to:
• Ability to work with a diverse population of students.
• Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and provide resources to meet student needs
. • Record and report student progress
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Job Qualifications
Candidate must have current NYSED certification in either: School Guidance Counselor, School Social Worker, or School Psychologist.
Successful candidate will:
• Demonstrate familiarity with and understanding of many of the challenges facing youth and families and will be committed to strengthening the connection between youth/families and schools.
• Ensure that confidentiality and privacy is maintained and respected.
• Must hold a commitment to promoting equity, practicing cultural responsiveness, and creating inclusive environments
The position is an hourly position which provides co-facilitated Solution Focused Brief Therapy to families within W-FL BOCES component school districts. Training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy will be provided.
Due to the nature of this position, after school and early evening hours are required.
