Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing high-quality instruction to secondary students in a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, high-level of engagement and eagerness to continue to learn and grow; working collaboratively with other teachers and community members to ensure continued learning of relevant skills and authentic application of those skills; supporting students as they develop a strong work ethic, pride in their work and the foundational skills employers have identified; willingness to develop/grow/promote the program to include all learners; and differentiating instruction to ensure all students experience success. Must hold a commitment to promoting equity, practicing cultural responsiveness, and creating inclusive environments.
